Teaching Assistant for Artificial Intelligence
Position Description:
This fast-evolving environment mandates the need for an educator who also evolves in terms of learning methodologies and content curriculum at the same industry pace to be relevant. AILABS (a DC Group company) has opened its first centre in Kolkata, to provide curated learning in data science with an accent on machine learning and other relevant areas of AI. AILABS is launching a hybrid learning platform, where courses are a combination of on-line sessions and instructor led classes, ensuring creation of talents with pedigree. As a part of the growth strategy, we are looking for a Teaching Assistant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Learn and be proficient about AILABS’ offerings
Help in the process of imparting education to our students
Be available to students for one-on-one sessions for additional educational assistance
Hold sessions with small groups of students on topics being taught by AILABS
Administer any quizzes and tests that will be held to evaluate student progress
Actively participate in weekly workshop events or any other events organized by AILABS
Keep lines of communication open with current candidates via Phone calls & E-Mails
Conduct research and independent learning in innovative technology areas
Perform any of the duties listed above or other duties as assigned
We are looking for candidates with the following:
Qualifications:
0 – 5 years of relevant experience
BTech/ MTech/ MCA/ MSc (Mathematics /Computer Science/ Statistics)
Strong mathematics and/or Statistics background (students with 90% or above in Mathematics in their ISC / Higher Secondary examinations will be preferred)
Who Also:
Possesses a positive attitude and outgoing personality with superior communication skills
Is coachable and dedicated to consistent self-improvement
Is assertive, persistent, a good listener, and persuasive
Aspires to achieve high standards and possesses the ability to inspire passion in others
Adapts to new situations quickly and thinks on his/her feet
