Duties:
In coordination with other crew members the Miner follows job procedures and regulations to perform one or more of the tasks required in the mining process.
Cementation Miners understand the company policies and works in accordance with the Mining Safety and Health Act.
Fully supports and actively participates in the Cementation safety program.
Ensures that all equipment is adequately provided with operating supplies throughout the shift.
Ensures applicable procedures and work standards for all tasks are understood adhered to and complied at all time for all such work.
Ensures that any equipment deemed damaged or unsafe by virtue of a defect, or a machine of which any protection system is inoperative, is not used, and communicated to the shaft leader, shaft superintendent and or the night captain.
Works closely with other development crew members to create and maintain a synergy required to accomplish the shift lineup in the cycle.
Ensures applicable procedures and work standards for all tasks are understood adhered to and complied at all time for all such work.
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in their workplace.
Perform any one or more of these tasks:
Operate Jumbo Drill
Install Rock Bolts & Screen
Muck
Shotcrete
Other duties for the project
Qualifications:
Experience: 2-3 Years underground Mining experience preferred
Cementation Miners Perform all tasks in a safe manner as required under the Mining Safety and Health Act and the Cementation Safety Management System.
