Job Description : About the jobAfter.com is a direct cremation provider offering simple and affordable cremation services to families who recently lost a loved one. Our process is straightforward and allows families to make arrangements entirely online or over the phone.We are rapidly growing and expanding our operations into new markets to allow us to help even more families during their time of need. We’re looking for the next Care Specialist to join our dynamic team and help us grow. This position interacts directly with families during their time of need and is responsible for creating and maintaining the highest level of client family satisfaction. The Care Specialist will interact directly with families via phone or text to ensure each person is cared for in a respectful and dignified manner.Remote work option may be considered, but applicant must be based in Utah.QualificationsPrevious experience in the funeral service industry preferredStrong background in Customer ServiceComputer savvyAble to quickly learn and adopt new tools and technologyEssential duties and responsibilitiesAnswer inbound calls with questions regarding pricing or making final arrangementsOutreach to family members via phone or text to arrange services and provide updatesFollow internal communication procedures, guidelines, and policiesEnsure all tasks are completed for each case in a timely mannerProvide the highest level of customer support and care to ensure all families needs are metEnsure all necessary documents are created, sent, and signed by the appropriate personsThis Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is: Dependable — more reliable than spontaneousCaring — able to work with and support multiple grieving families a dayPeople-oriented — enjoys interacting with people and working on group projectsAdaptable/flexible — enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in directionDetail-oriented — is very attentive to the details of work and doesn’t let things fall through the cracksHigh stress tolerance — thrives in a high-pressure environmentStartup experience — experience or understanding of high-growth startup company environments a plusDoes this role sound like a great fit?
