Job Description : Description:Full-time live in nanny position for a 6 year old girl and a 7 year old boy. I am a forty two year old single father who works a lot that is looking for not only a nanny, but a motherly/grandmotherly figure. Their mother is in the picture and has them Wednesday nights and every other weekend, the rest is on us. We live in a large mountain home by deer creek reservoir up the Provo Canyon. Included is a very nice bedroom to live in. A second kitchen. Automobile fuel and food included. These kids are my world and I need someone who is mature, that will put my kids first (the kids have to be the first priority.) Looking for someone that will take the kids to do activities inside and out, but also understands the importance of being home a bit. The importance of home cooked meals at the table, showers and baths, reading a book to them and not rushing it before bedtime. These kids are very well behaved, they go to bed at 8pm and wake up between 6:30 and 7:30am almost always happy. They love each other. Looking for someone who is always loving and knows how to discipline the right way. Yelling or ever physically touching the kids will get you fired, time-outs are welcomed when needed. I don’t want my kids to be undisciplined, messy, mean, or anything like that, I’m trying my hardest to raise them well. Looking for someone who sees things that need to be done, rather than wait for me to tell them. For example, my boy’s nails grow really fast and seem to have dirt under them a lot, I need someone that will cut his nails and clean the dirt without being asked, they just know to do it. He also wears glasses and I need someone that knows to clean his glasses throughout the day without being asked, because they get smudged and he can’t see well out of them. My daughter bites her nails, I need someone that recognizes that without me having to tell them, and will help solve the problem. What I am getting at is I need someone with very good common sense that is looking to help, not be told. Someone that will love these kids as if they were their own. In return, I don’t look at a live in nanny as someone that is just doing a job and is asked to stick to their headquarters, but rather someone to come and be a part of the family. As I said before, it is a very nice large home, I was raised to always take care of things, especially your own house. I have house cleaners that deep clean the house, but I must have someone that will keep it up and keep it very clean (you must be a very clean person.) I am not someone that can deal with a messy or cluttered house (including drawers.) I also understand that my kids are little and things will not always look perfect in the house. I also have very good common sense and am very fair, but expect to have a clean house overall. If you would like to be a part of my amazing family, please reach out to me. That is something we can talk about when we talk.Requirements:- Super super super super super clean person (this will be a deal breaker if you are not.)- Need to be a good cook (want my kids to eat healthy, I’ve already gotten them to like veggies, the majority of the time. But also want there to be unhealthy meals that are kid meals some of the time too. Along with desserts and candy sometime too. Again, good common sense come into play here.)- Need to be a good driver with a reliable 4 wheel or all-wheel drive car (I have a long steep driveway and live up the canyon.)- Stay on top of the kids homework (boy is in 2nd grade and girl is in kindergarten.)Qualifications:- All I’m going to say about being qualified is that you need to have a lot of experience with kids.
