ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing architectural support in the planning, design, selection, coordination, and detail of architectural material for Healthcare projects internationally.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Independently prepare Revit plans, building sections, elevations, details, wall sections, and design drawings within all architectural phases as directed in conformance with project time, cost and quality constraints.
Demonstrate proficiency in clinical processes across medical and healthcare facilities.
Work with end users to outline process flows and critical adjacencies of clinical rooms.
Participate in the healthcare planning process within the design team to create department floor plan concepts reflective of operations.
Understand and guide discussions on medical equipment needs.
Communicate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of project documents.
Attend and actively participate in project team meetings.
Become familiar with building and life safety codes and their correct application.
Actively seeks new knowledge in the design and planning of medical and healthcare facilities.
Participate in the Construction Administration process under the direction of the Project Architect.
ABOUT YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor or Master of Architecture.
Minimum of 7 years of experience working on mid to large scale projects required.
Previous experience with Healthcare planning and design is required.
Strong creative design portfolio required.
Strong communication, presentation, graphics, teamwork, organizational skills as well as the ability to handle multiple projects required.
Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office required.
