ITFM Consultant
Position description
Member of engagement team for IT Financial Management (ITFM) implementations.
Design, develop and configure IT Financial Management models in ITFM solutions
Understand functional and business requirements from either the client or EY engagement team and translate into a technical design, which meets customer needs, provides maximum solution value, and is within scope of IT Financial Management tools.
Understand, validate and manipulate multiple datasets in preparation to load into the ITFM tool.
Configure, test, & document ITFM solution dashboards, reports and underlying data models to meet functional design and specifications.
Work closely with other consultants to leverage skill sets and deliverables.
Business qualifications
General understanding of Financial concepts such as General Ledger, CapEx, OpEx, Actuals, Budget and Forecast
Basic knowledge of IT Cost (TCO for Applications, Projects and Services)
General understanding of Operational data supporting IT (Labor, Timesheet, Projects etc.)
General understanding of IT Infrastructure concepts such as Server, Storage, Virtualization, Database and Network
Technical qualifications
2-4 Years of experience in implementing ITFM solutions i.e. configuring models and reports/dashboards
Experience with data dictionaries, data analysis and relational databases
Skilled at working with large data sets, quickly detecting and resolving data-related issues
Skilled at completing technical design via iterative prototypes and wireframes
Basic programming skills and data analytics e.g. HTML, SQL, Excel, Access, Business Objects, etc.
Basic qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
Ability to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-starter – able to come up to speed on complex, difficult concepts with minimal assistance
Team player with solid communication and presentation skills
Ability to breakdown complex information into simple solution requirements
Strong to expert skills in data analysis/manipulation
Knowledge of enterprise IT organizational, business, and technical environments
Strong English written/ oral skills
