Job Description : Job DescriptionJob Overview/ Purpose of the Role
Responsible for “ Dynachrome – SCM – Inbound – Outbound-Purchase” function
Provides inbound and outbound logistics in line with delivery, service, quality and cost objectives.
Organizes outbound logistics and coordinates inbound logistics in order to achieve service quality at the lowest cost and in safe condition.
Identifies, maintain relations and conducts negotiations with external suppliers.
Provides plant / production manager with customer requirements.
Performs raw material and components procurement.
Guarantees service continuity to secure the production plan while optimizes inventory levels.
Performs production planning and control based on customer volume.
Ensures on time SAP system updating and implement in plant
Planning & scheduling of Direct Material. Follow up for the material with supplier as per day-wise requirement
Evaluation of supplier rating based on delivery performance.
Maintain Inventory of direct Material based on Min & Max stock. Follow up for action plan from supplier for delivery failure.
Ensures On Time Delivery to customer with right documentation (eg: Barcode invoice, PDS updation etc).
To ensure completion of all process of store & purchase operational requirements
Ensure all Inventory management and control
Manage & coordinate job work activities with supplier
Ensure availability of optimum stock and carry out monthly stock reconciliation.
Monitoring slow and non-moving stock and taking proper action.
Responsible for accurate and timely management of store operations
Liaising with Statutory & Internal Auditors
Timely submission of Reports
Should work in team and follows system.
Ethics, Integrity, Safety and Quality are values needed.
Follow Tenneco Systems for new product & process development.
Required Skills
Key Responsibilities :
Ensuring quantitative customer requirement are delivered on time. Provides communication to Suppliers to receive the parts on right time to ensure targeted inventory levels of raw materials, components, WIP & FG are maintained with real time SAP updation.
LOTO compliance in plant if found any deviation correct it and communicate to Safety officer
Ensure to follow company safety standards.
Member of focus factory team.
Monitor of material down time on daily basis.
Knowledge of Planning & Scheduling Material.
Work experience with any automotive company.
Knowledge of SAP is must.
Knowledge of Word and excel, PowerPoint.
Required Experience
Graduate or Diploma, MBA preferred, 6-8 year’s of knowledge in purchase, related to Direct material.
Production plant experience
Technical background in mechanical and / or automation
Analytical and synthesis competencies
Team sprit
Knowledge of production flow management and workshop layout
