Job Description : Recovery AdvocatePosition DescriptionThe Recovery Advocate will help with creating and maintaining a healing and supportive environment for our adult clients at the residential level of care. Our clients present with both mental health and addiction struggles, and are in treatment for a variety of reasons. Recovery Advocates will help with maintaining healthy boundaries, foster support and build rapport with the clients to assist them in their growth and recovery during their time at Corner Canyon.Daily ResponsibilitiesSupport clients in the day to day functions while at the facilityMedication management and administrationAdminister UAs and Brethalyzers with correct documentationTransport residents safely to and from activities and meetingsFocus on safety, supervision and compliance of clientsBehavior and boundary managementSupport and engage in therapeutic groups and activitiesHelp with cleaning and maintaining the facility and its groundsFollow all HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality of clientsOvernight monitoring of clients for safetyComplete appropriate documentation, including group notes and daily summariesCommunicate effectively with supervisor and other staff, regarding clientsAttend twice monthly trainings and meetings with clinical team and supervisorsMinimum Requirements Current driver’s licenseCPR/First aid certification – CCHC will assist you in obtaining this certification if not completed before hireBe able to pass a background screening through The Department of Human Services, Office of LicensingNew employee UAEducation/Training Highschool diploma or equivalentAssociates or bachelors degree preferredAvailable Scheduling Options 7:00 am MT-3:00 pm MT, Monday-FridayWeekendsSwing Shifts either (1:00pm MT-11:00pm MT) or (3:00pm MT-11:00pm MT)OvernightsPay Range/Benefits $16-$19.00/hr dependent on education/experienceFull time benefits are available after 30 days of employmentPart time benefit options are available through Medallus Urgent Care401K available after 6 months of employment for both full/part time employeesPotential opportunities for tuition assistanceJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $16.00 – $19.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementMedical Specialty:Addiction MedicinePsychiatrySchedule:12 hour shiftDay shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayNight shiftWeekend availabilityEducation:High school or equivalent (Required)Work Location: One location
