Work remotely when needed, and come into our modern, creative office space in the heart of downtown SLC when you want a creative, midweek pick me up.We offer great pay, flexible schedules, and excellent career and professional development opportunities.About the roleThe Part Time Bookkeeper & Office Manager role is a 20-30 hour / week role, working closely with our team to keep our financial books organized while overseeing some administrative office duties. As a key member of our team, you’ll work with a dozen driven individuals, from our small business operating partners, to Decada’s leadership team, to our partners and staff.This role is mostly remote, with some in-office work out of our modern, creative space in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. (5-10 hours / week in office)Responsibilities includeCompleting end of month close processes for our collection of companiesBuilding and sending financial reportsCollaborating with team members on administrative projectsBuilding and documenting SOPs & company policiesCompleting journal entries to align books with systems of recordOverseeing payroll processes in GustoAR/AP managementExperience RequiredUnderstanding of GAAP Accounting and intermediate level bookkeeping experienceFamiliarity with Quickbooks or XeroDetail oriented, self starter attitudeAbility to work with limited supervision and high autonomyAbout DecadaEvery small business starts with a dream, a vision.
