Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services is seeking a PC Desktop Support Technician; this position will be located in Roy, UT. Job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Deploy, refresh, EOL, and support PC hardware and approved peripherals on Sector supported classified networks for Microsoft Windows based systems.
Deploy new equipment.
Install approved hardware and software.
Configure, troubleshoot, and repair PC software and approved peripherals.
Troubleshoot PC network connectivity issues.
Service and repair PC hardware.
Sanitize and surplus equipment for EOL.
Implement and troubleshoot interactions between multi-user computing systems and various desktop hardware and software.
Maintain images for classified areas to meet standards provided by Computer Security and the Customer.
Participate in/facilitate software upgrades and new software/hardware insertion projects.
Use the Enterprise VSM system to respond to user requests which are used to capture metrics regarding workload for planning and budgeting purposes.
Support Code Blue activities.
Maintain refresh and new deploy inventory.
Interface with the Depot for delivery and pre-configuration.
Support and maintain unclassified PCs in the restricted area.
Support proposal activities.
Support off-site systems and activities.
Support ad hoc program moves.
This position may be filled at Level 3 or Level 4, depending on the required qualifications outlined below.
Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:
High School diploma or equivalent with 4 years of additional education and/or experience.
Current DoD Secret security clearance is required on Day 1 of employment; maintaining the required clearance will be a condition of continued employment.
The selected candidate will be required to obtain a Special Access Programs (SAP/SAR) clearance within a period of time as determined by customer and/or program requirements; maintaining SAP/SAR will be a condition of continued employment.
Experience troubleshooting, installing, and configuring Desktops running Windows OS (including Windows 10), as well as the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
DoD 8570 IAT Level II baseline certification (example: Security+ CE), or have the ability to obtain the required certification within 6 months of start date as a condition of continued employment.
The ability to lift 40 pounds.
The ability to work after hours and/or weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
CompTIA A+, Network+, Dell, HP, or other certification(s).
Experience with remote administration.
Experience with PowerShell scripting.
Experience with zero and/or thin client devices.
Experience in Active Directory configuring user and computer accounts.
Cross-platform experience (i.e. two or more of the following: Windows, Linux, Solaris, OSX, UNIX, etc.).
Experience supporting VMware VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure).
Active DoD Top Secret security clearance.

Salary Range: $47,100 USD – $78,500 USD
Salary Range 2: $56,000 USD – $93,400 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
