Job Description : JOB SUMMARYWorks at multiple Salt Lake County COVID-19 testing sites to administer and collect COVID-19 tests and information.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSTwo (2) years of experience related to these duties, OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience.Preference will be given to candidates with current Certification with the State of Utah as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT), Medical Assistant (MA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or a professional licensure in the State of Utah as a Registered Nurse.Will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement for access to HIPPA protected information through EpiTrax.Must possess a valid Driver’s License issued by the State of Utah in order to drive a County or personal vehicle to various work sites.Preference given to those that can speak languages other than English.Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant must pass a required background investigation.Must be able to work Monday through Friday 2 pm to 7 pm.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAdministers COVID-19 test in compliance with testing protocols.Collect information from person being tested.Enters the testing information in the state’s public health management system (EpiTrax).RegistersHelps with traffic control when needed.May act as runners, taking the samples to the labs.Knowledge of:Sensitivities surrounding immigration status and how this can be a barrier to case investigation and contact tracing activitiesLanguage and interviewing skills that build and maintain trust with clients and contacts.Ethical and professional standards of conductNegotiating skillsProblem solvingCultural humility and competencyJob Types: Part-time, TemporaryPay: $25.00 per hourMedical Specialty:Emergency MedicinePrimary CareSchedule:Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Salt Lake City, UT: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
