Position : Utah SCSEP Coordinator
Job Description : The Senior Community Service Employment Program offers seniors the opportunity to demonstrate their work ethic, enthusiasm, loyalty, and life experience empowering them to improve their economic self-sufficiency. The Program Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day management of the SCSEP, working with the SCSEP Program Director to ensure full compliance with the rules and regulations of SCSEP including achieving annual performance measures set forth by the U.S. Department of Labor as well as supervising SCSEP staff across the state. This position requires superior customer service skills, internally and externally, the ability to effectively handle competing priorities, provide positive reinforcement to a wide variety of staff with varying skill levels, as well as creativity and belief in the mission of ESGW. You will have the personal opportunity to have a profound and positive impact on seniors in your own community. This position is responsible for relationship-building with businesses within our community.
Wage: $20.00/hr
Required Skills
Excellent written, oral, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all requirements of the job.
Applicant must pass a background check.
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3-5 years experience in Workforce Development (5 years’ experience in Workforce Development satisfies education requirement).
