Job Description : Power Equipment Rental, a well-established equipment rental company is seeking a hard working individual to join our team as a Yard Hand. We are looking to add a hard-working and dedicated individual to our staff. Benefits include vacation, paid holidays and health insurance. A Yard Hand maintains the cleanliness of the rental yard and keeps the equipment organized to minimize customer wait time. This position assists customers with equipment check-in, check-out and basic operation knowledge. We are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities: Oversees all activity in the yard area and ensures organization and order at all time. Ensures all equipment is secured prior to leaving. Communicate with immediate manager and counter personnel on damages or missing parts upon return of equipment. Requirements: Must be a hard working individual who enjoys physical labor. Must be comfortable working in a variety of different environments (Heat, wind, rain etc.). Must be able to lift, push or pull a minimum of 50 lbs., and occasionally up to 100 lbs. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularity required to stand, walk, use hands to feel or operate machinery, talk and hear. The employee is also frequently required to reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl. Must have a valid Driver’s license.
