Join the team that made all this work!*ABOUT THE ROLE*We are looking for a smart and self-driven campaigner who understands how to bring together stakeholders from various industries to work on a shared vision for creating change.This is a contract position from March 2022 – Dec 2022.The following outlines the expectations of this role:Partnerships management: 50%Provide day-to-day support to campaign partners, including not-for-profit partners, climate experts, media, temporary contractors as well as government and institutional stakeholdersSupport with identifying and onboarding local partners to support in meeting campaign outcomesEnsure smooth coordination and clear communication internally in the team and externally with partnersCo-develop and manage relationships with state and city decision makers to meet campaign outcomes and impact alongwith campaign leadCampaign planning & execution: 50%Provide overall execution support to the creative and campaign leadSupport the development of campaign strategy, messaging, and identify storytelling opportunities and channelsConduct research on audiences and policies relating to the campaign goals to contribute to campaign strategy and communicationTake ownership on driving day-to-day execution of tactics and timelines, including youth engagement sessions, knowledge sharing sessions, policy workshopsDevelop and manage work streams in the work plan with the support of campaign lead and project managerActively look for rapid response opportunities that align with campaign’s goals, and develop tactics with the support of the campaign team.Gather and regularly update project monitoring templates (dashboard, pre and post perception surveys etc) for monitoring, measurement and evaluation of audience engagement and impact of the campaign.Working with the project team to plan and execute events like workshops, panels, poetry slams, and roundtable discussionsContribute to the development of campaign content in partnership with the Purpose creative team, including videos, graphics, and digital experiencesDigital and social media engagement: Desirable, but not necessaryWorking with creative and digital lead to maintain the campaign’s social media content calendar which captures campaign peaks, weekly social media post plans with key messages.Working with Purpose partners and their channels to support in posting and promoting contentSupport in development of campaign content (e.g., writing email and social media copy, staging campaign emails and action pages), monitoring metrics, and sharing data-driven resultsUndertake social listening for your campaigns to run responsive postsSupport in developing messaging and distribution plan for meeting campaign impact metrics*About you: *You have at least 4+ years of experience in advocacy, building partnerships, managing relationships across diverse stakeholders and planning projects, as well as combined communications and campaigning experience.You have some degree of understanding of the socio-political and cultural context of India esp West and North India. Some experience or interest in climate focused work is preferable.You are a strategic thinker and have a good understanding of nonprofit and advocacy communicationsYou are comfortable working in high-pressure environments and managing multiple deliverables simultaneouslyYou carry high personal integrity, with commitment to creating progressive change in the worldYou have experience building relationships and communicating with different stakeholders like CSOs, cultural groups, media partners, youth groups, government actors and other stakeholdersYou are familiar with community and movement-building, and/or issue areas of strong relevance to Purpose’s missionYou have experience in reporting and documentation using Monitoring & Evaluation toolsYou are a skilled communicator; well-versed in English and MarathiIf these are the things that get you up in the morning, we want to hear from you!
