We are looking for a committed team player with attention to detail.You can join an organization that has a long tradition of continuing success and be a valued contributor from day one.Travel would be minimal depending on where you live, basic computer skills are a necessity. We specialize in industrial and mass-productivity construction. Factories, warehouses, distribution centers, and government projects. Our origin was in pre-engineered steel buildings, but we have since fulfilled the role of General Contractor on hundreds of large projects.Preferred candidates will have 5-10 years of experience and knowledge with construction and management. Knowledge of erection of pre-engineered metal buildings is not necessary, but would be a definite asset.The preferable candidate has done or can learn the following skills:- A goal oriented and results driven personality.- A bachelor’s or associates degree.- OSHA 30 HR certification also preferred.- Excellent organizational skills.- Daily communication with project management and subcontractors as necessary.- Leading and managing the on-site construction team.- Coordinating and overseeing all work on site.- Attending production meetings.- Evaluating and adapting to changes in schedules and work scope.- Ensuring quality standards are met.- Communicating with project management for materials, and being responsible for equipment and materials on site.- Following the project timeline to ensure deadlines are met.- Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliance, cleanliness and orderliness.- Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders and RFIs.- Working with inspection authorities regarding approvals.Requirements:-5+ years experience as a Construction Superintendent, Project Manager or Estimator.-Proficient with MS Office, Word and Excel.Proficient with scheduling and/or estimating software.-Proficient with taking and uploading digital photographs, organizing digital and physical files.-Ability to manage purchase orders, material orders, equipment and subcontractor scheduling.-Ability to lift 40 pounds and to operate heavy equipment.-Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications and other documents.-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.-Willingness to put in extra hours as business requires.Benefits:Health InsuranceDental InsurancePaid Vacation and HolidaysProject/Production Bonuses401K PlanAdvancement OpportunitiesCollaborative, fast-paced environment.Minimal travel.
