Job Description : The Data Entry Associate will assist the Accounts Payable Department in processing and entering data to ensure that all invoices/bills are paid accurately and timely.Duties and Responsibilities: Communicating with buyers, vendors, and store employeesKeeping track of payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.Paying vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, scheduling and preparing checks, resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memosProcessing accounts payable adjustmentsCharging expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices/expense reports and recording entriesMatching invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentsMaintaining accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactionsProviding accurate and effective document preparation and records management in accordance with policies and proceduresQuick, accurate data entry and codingAll other duties as assignedQualifications: Great attitude, a team player with a desire to be helpful10key proficiency, accurate with 9000+KPHTyping proficiency, accurate with 50+ WPMGeneral math skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentialityExcellent data entry, analytical and written/verbal communication skillsEducation/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent requiredA minimum of 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable or similar field preferredSportsman’s Warehouse is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $15.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payWork Location: One location
