Job Description : Who we are looking forWhen clients switch from a competitor to start using our dental software, they usually need to bring their data with them. This position is responsible for the ETL (Extract Transform Load) process of getting the data converted from the competitor into our software.Essential Job Functions: Maintain oversight and ownership of the entire conversion process for a given clientManage conversion schedules with clients and ImplementationsEducate and manage process expectations of clientDevelop mapping requirements, test plans and seek approval of clientsFilling out client-facing forms and documentation detailing process and exceptionsRetrieve data from the client’s machineRun the extraction processes (E) for known systems in order to get client data into an intermediate state ready to be transformedScrutinize and transform data (T) after extraction and before importLoad (L) transformed data into Hero and confirm qualityPhone calls with clients to review dataEnsure client interactions are logged and all CRM records are kept up to dateAssist clients to diagnose and solve data problemsProvide assistance across all departmentsOther roles and responsibilities as determined or changed by Curve managementThings we’re looking for in terms of more specific skill-sets and experience: Proficiency with MS Excel Spreadsheets, specifically with excel functions, macros, and formulas2 years of experience with ETL. Data Integration and Data Quality Tools Skills Experience using industry standard ETL and/or data quality tools such as Monarch, Actian (Pervasive) Data Integrator or other ETL toolsExperience with scripting in SQL languages highly preferredCommunication including: handling difficult clients understanding others and responding appropriatelyAbility to support conversions occasionally after normal business hoursSome things that would be nice to have but not totally required: Degree, Diploma, Certificate in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent relevant work experienceIT or Computer Science certificates a plusExperience implementing and managing data profiling, data assessment, data quality analysis, and data mappingExperience with relational databases,Btrieve, Ctree and other database typesExperience with systems that deal with dental or medical dataWhy you want to work here: Me Time.Strong commitment to good work / life balance.
