Position : Freelance News Editors – Remote
Job Description : REVOLT’s popular news site is looking for a freelance news editor and 1-2 contributing freelance news editors.
The freelance news editor will be tasked with writing a minimum of five news articles from 2:00 pm ET – 8:00 pm ET from Monday to Friday. Occasional weekends will be required, as well, for awards shows coverage, etc.
The freelance contributing editors will be assigned to write occasional breaking news articles when the everyday news editors are either too busy or their shifts have ended. Occasional weekends are required, as well.
All applicants must have knowledge of AP Style, hip hop, social justice, SEO, be great storytellers, and love Black culture!
