Are you looking for a new challenge where your skills with problem solving and attention to detail can shine? The Utah Department of Health is looking for a Government Records and Management Act (GRAMA) Coordinator to help coordinate and manage the departments responses to request for information received by the agency. You will coordinate with the subject matter experts to compile appropriate responses and ensure timely processing. In order to be successful in this position, you need experience managing or coordinating projects, and excellent communication and organizational skills. You need to understand and be able to communicate the requirements of GRAMA, including security, privacy, and confidentiality considerations. With the merger of Health and Human Services, you will provide these coordination services across the combined department. This may be filled as a career mobility for current Utah Department of Health or Human Services employees.
Principal Duties
As the department GRAMA Coordinator, you will:
Provide training, technical assistance and standardized resources to agency staff in completing GRAMA requests for information.
Coordinate the timely processing of the requests, including logging them into a tracking system, coordinating thorough and accurate responses, and ensuring responses are submitted within deadlines.
Work with divisions and programs as the subject matter experts on fulfilling GRAMA request.
Coordinate with the Division of Technology Services (DTS) and other integral programs to respond to GRAMA requests.
Understand the requirements of GRAMA, including relevant security, privacy, and confidentiality considerations.

Working Conditions:
The typical office setting for this job is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated. However, you may encounter some risks that are associated with any office setting, for example, the safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.
Standard Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Physical Requirements:
Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items; driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.
