Job Description : Location: Salt Lake City, UT – In office
Hours: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday
Pay: $25.00 – $35.00/hr, depending on experience.
Bonus: $500 after 3 months of employment & $500 more after 6 months of employment = $1,000 bonus (Must start work before April 30, 2022)
The experience you need to succeed:
One year to three years similar or related experience.
A High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
Knowledge of branch operations, internal control techniques, Credit Union policies and procedures, federal and state regulations.
Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work on repetitive and often tedious tasks.
Flexible with work time including before and after regular hours.

What you’ll do:
Under the guidance of the Compliance Manager, support the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program.
Develop methodologies for the assessment and ongoing monitoring of risks using both qualitative and quantitative tools and metrics.
Prepare status reports, develop risk metrics and other risk-related or dashboard reporting in accordance with the ERM.
Support organizational compliance with risk policies through regular risk monitoring, documenting, and reporting of risk policy exceptions.
Help to guide and create presentations or other reporting for senior management, risk committees and the board with focus on essential risks, trends, our event reviews.
Perform an ongoing review, research and analysis of all current and new regulations and their application to the Credit Union. Interpret and analyze new and developing changes in regulations, rules and laws and advise Management of the operational impact of such changes by providing thorough written summaries and recommendations for implementation. Assist with implementation as needed.
Evaluate the Credit Union’s policies, procedures, products and programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Make recommendations for change where appropriate. Assist with implementation as needed.

The person in this position will be responsible for implementing, assessing, managing, and maintaining the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) system under the oversight of the Compliance Manager. This person will also be responsible for maintaining awareness of all federal and state laws and regulations and their impact on the Credit Union’s compliance requirements. They will be responsible for communicating recommendations to Management which will facilitate a reduction in compliance risk and reflect changes in regulations and mitigate risk in credit union processes. The ideal candidate will understand credit union processes, possess the ability to work with limited supervision, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
