ABOUT THIS ROLE
Audible is currently seeking an Executive Assistant (EA) for our Founder and Executive Chairman. In this role, you will need a mix of C-Level administration support experience, the ability to escalate priorities and influence others, technical proficiency and familiarity with videoconference and email platforms, and the problem-solving and project management skills required to manage the various business and personal matters for the Executive Chairman. You will handle day-to-day duties that can include juggling tasks/meeting conflicts, travel logistics, e-mail and contact management, as well as leading the execution on ad hoc projects and requests.
You have a demonstrated connection to Audible’s People Principles and commitment to Audible’s product and social mission. You have a deep understanding of the Executive Chairman’s key priorities and be proactive to ensure that he makes the most effective use of time and resources. You will build trust and confidence and demonstrate sound judgement in your work.
This role will be temporarily remote until our return to office date, at which time we will begin our hybrid model, Hub+Home. Our Hub+Home model provides flexibility to do our best work in the way that works best – maximizing the benefits of both work from hub and home. As an Executive Assistant to the Founder and Executive Chairman, you will…
Handle business and personal scheduling and calendar management.Strategically manage business and personal travel plans, reservations and logistics including liaising with all travelers for special needs.Coordinate with other EAs to setup meetings with Amazon and Audible executives, including the preparation of confidential meeting notes and related documents.Triage and do basic troubleshooting for hardware and software issues (e.g. e-mail issues with iPhone, MS Word printing problems, etc.).Handle special projects such as auditing and organizing Contacts and implementing digital document filing.
5+ years of work experience.Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, video conferencing, various apps and programs on the phone and computer.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and communication skills.Strong project management and problem solving skills.
