JOB DESCRIPTION: INSIDE SALES CREATIVE SPECIALIST
Role reports to: Inside Sales Manager I (ISM) / Inside Sales Manager II (ISM) / Inside Sales Senior Manager (ISSM)
Primary Objectives
The primary responsibility of the Inside Sales Creative Specialist is to design and produce documentation to support the Sales process and other related activities by creatively translating technical information into effective visual concepts. The creative specialist ensures that design and production of documents is cost-effective and meets specifications by enhancing work processes, systems, and tools to improve product quality and delivery efficiency. Ensures Timely and Quality outputs that meets as per internal customers’ expectations.
Specific Activities
Develops graphics of medium complexity and provides document layout and formatting for sales proposals and presentations and other sales related materials, including the use of complex desktop publishing/ web graphics techniques. Has good visualizing capabilities and can propose visual scheme to overall graphics assets required. Ensures that production of documents is cost-effective and meets specifications and communicates with internal and external vendors. May provide guidance on desktop publishing techniques to other Creative Specialists. Works under general supervision; work is reviewed for adequacy and accuracy. Has an eye for details and has potential to work independently for graphics specific activities. Knowledge of web design/ interactivity/ animation can be additional qualification. Ensure that all graphic assets drive a consistent brand message and experience across the sales material. Embrace new platforms, tech/design/content developments and best practice approaches.
Overall Graphics Activities
May develop graphics of medium to complex level, and is able to use various graphic software to deliver high quality, technical sales material/documentation such as white papers/ Executive summary/ Presentations/ Publishing (both web and print) / Posters etc. directly under IS/ SME supervision
Design and produce graphics for sales proposals and presentations including covers, tabs, image manipulation, information graphics, handouts, layout, and formatting.
Design and produce graphics for trade shows and coordinates with vendors.
Design and produce graphics for display boards, conferences, public meetings and award submittals.
Design and produce a variety of graphics to support customer needs – may include maps, logos, charts, data interpretation, and internal presentations.
Coordinate scheduling of projects with outside vendors to support timely dissemination; obtain quotes for projects, review vendor qualifications, and select vendors; determine specifications for printing specialty items and prepare written cost estimates.
Qualifications/Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related discipline from a four-year college or university. Similar working level obtained through relevant job experience may be accepted in lieu of degree level education.
Experience: Minimum 3 to 6 years’ experience or relevant education or technical training in lieu of graphic work experience.
Technical:
Proficient-level competency in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe creative suite, and other graphics relevant software.
Expert skills in graphic design. Must have Knowledge of design techniques, such as storyboarding, and prototyping.
Proficient-level ability to translate technical information into effective visual concepts
Expert in document layout and publishing.
Demonstrates ability to work with top-level executives and decision-makers to visually communicate complex and mission-critical concepts.
Must have ability to visualize the concept and develop infographics and propose alternate solutions.
Understands the interactivity and animation needs and can apply the knowledge in effective way.
