Job Description : Job Title: Lead Support
Full-time, Hourly: $21.12/hr
Job Description: The Lead Support position ensures timely production start-up, helps to drive daily production goals, and provides positive coaching, training and support to Operations employees. Schedule typically includes overtime. This position will typically be in packaging but will fill in for production lead on their absence.
Shift: Days
Troubleshoot line-stops to get them up ASAP
Communicate with kindness and professionalism
Ensure timely start-up
Ensure Redzone downtime codes are entered correctly and prior to shifts’ end
Oversight of Good Manufacturing Practices, and required PPE usage
Ensure Leader Standard Work is completed
Pre-Op / Post-Op Checklist grading &completion
Responsible for upholding Food Defense Program
Post-Maintenance cleaning & sanitization approvals
Participates in Kaizen, CI and 5-S activities, as required
Oversight of storage compliance (temperature controlled, chemical, etc)
Escalate safety & quality Incidents to Quality Assurance or Management
Inspire Operators to meet or exceed production goals
Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated excellent teamwork
Ability to demonstrate a high degree of initiative.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Bi-Lingual Spanish/English a plus.
Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with others at all levels in the organization.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
Willing to work in Salt Lake City, Utah
Additional consideration will be given to individuals with the most documented training sign-offs.
