Job Description : Social Service Worker (SSW) – DBT Day Treatment
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm
Pay: $22- $25 hourly (DOE)
Opportunities to earn quarterly bonuses
Status: Full-time

The SSW Role and How You WILL Make a Difference
Social Service Workers are “the voice”, advocate, and support system for the people and communities that we provide mental and behavioral services for. Within this role, you will be able to make a difference by assessing client challenges, needs, situations and help develop a support system (treatment and resources) to meet their goals. Some specific duties include:
Develop therapeutic relationships with clients
Work closely with clinical teams in developing client care plans
Review care plans, progress, and coordinate adjustments with the clinical team
Coordinate services among internal/external agencies and providers

Who We’d Love to Join Our Team
The DBT Day Treatment is a program working with youth ages 12-17 who experience severe emotional disturbances. The purpose of the program is to help these teens acquire skills to manage emotions and behavior through learning and utilizing DBT skills. The team at DBT Day Treatment is dedicated to providing services to teens with some of the greatest needs in developing skills to help them succeed at school, home and in the community.
For this role and program, we are looking for someone compassionate in listening to, working with, and advocating for those in need. In addition to sound time management and organization skills, they would need:
Current or soon to acquire SSW licensure within Utah
Bachelors Degree in Social Work or related field
1+ years experience in behavioral health (preferred)
