Job Description : Student Affairs Case ManagerDrew University’s Student Conduct and Community Standards is seeking a full-time Student Affairs Case Manager. This is a full-time (35-hours/week), twelve-month, live-in position and serves on the University’s emergency response team. The Case Manager is responsible for the daily management of the Student of Concern (SOC) processes housed in the Division of Enrollment Management and Campus Life. The individual will be responsible for the creation and tracking of all cases reported through the SOC form as well as those referred to the office by stakeholders within the community. The individual will conduct student intake and goal setting meetings as well as provide timely referrals when needed. The position will also serve to support the University’s behavioral response team, taking notes on all updates, action items, and inputting that work into the University’s behavioral database.This position is categorized as an essential employee and while flexibility will be provided as approved by the supervisor, reporting to work in person is required of this position.Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular individual student meetings to discuss the issues the students are facing, the resources they have access to, the resources they need, plans of action, and next steps.Manage the student of concern process, including processing cases, documenting follow-ups, and ensuring timely resource referrals.Assist in the coordination and management of weekly behavioral management team meetings, including following up with departments regarding action items.Provide regular assessment and recommendations for improvement on the SOC process, including the use of data and trends to help the University make decisions around providing student support.Provides crisis intervention/assessments to students in need through an on-call emergency response rotation.Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s Degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, or a related field is preferred.
