Job Description : NOTICE OF VACANCY: COORDINATOR OF VOLUNTEERSNotice Issued March 18, 2022Posting Period March 18, 2022 – April 1, 2022Department Administration/CASADISTINGUISHING JOB CHARACTERISTICSSupervises and coordinates Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Volunteer Program. Assures volunteer program quality of service. Monitors reports, assists with interviews, accompanies volunteers to hearings and assists with case investigations. Supervises volunteers and cases. May assist with In-Service and Pre-Service trainings. At times, provides assistance to Volunteer Services Manager with reports, grant reporting and grant applications. Maintains hard copy and computer file records pertaining to all cases. Tracks report data about case and volunteer statistics for the Court, VOCA, State and National CASA organizations. Writes letters to volunteers, contributors, and other agencies. Provides office coverage, and performs other duties assigned by the Court Administrator and/or the Volunteer Services Manager.“In this position, you are an At-Will Employee serving at the pleasure of the Administrative Judge.”QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in social service related field, and over three years court experience, with demonstrable training or experience in supervision. Completion of CASA training following appointment.Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of original appointment as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements.Position Location 380 W.
