SUMMARY: Responsible for the administration of FMCSA/DOT Compliance workflow and day to day business.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the administration of FMCSA/DOT compliance, including manage driver qualifications, competencies, training, audit & inspections of driver files, hours of service, hazardous material documentaiton, and other FMCSA/DOT compliance related business. Assist with and contribute to adequate driver onboarding and training processes. Provide a variety of ad hoc statistical reports of the operational performance for internal and external customers. Coordinate with terminal management and other personnel to ensure that FMCDA/DOT complance is progressive and acurate. Ensure the SharePoint sites are updated and maintain all training compliance reports. Develop, edit and/or revise the systems, stadards, policies and adminstrative contorls. Conduct in person training on the use and application of the software tracking program. Assist in tracking the progress of compliance activities and report progress out to stakeholder. Assist management a with guidance on improvements to FMCSA/DOT regulatory compliance.

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a regulatory compliance, and/or FMCSA/DOT compliance role.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Post High School education in business or a related field is a plus. For example, a certificate from North American Transportation Management Institute is highly desirable.
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, Word, OneNote, OneDrive and SharePoint.
COMPETENCIES: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, both internal and external of the organization. Ability to document existing and new processes. Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously. Ability to utilize problem solving skills. Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope. Ability to identify and manage critical business processes. Ability to demonstrate proven experience developing, improving and streamlining processes to meet established goals and objectives. Ability to effectively track and trend various metrics to identify process strengths and weaknesses. Knowledge of and ability to apply the concepts, principles and practices of change management.
OTHER: May sometimes be on an on-call rotational schedule, with travel to remote locations up to 25% of the time.
JOB SCOPE: Position impacts multiple business units/segments.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Works both inside an office environment and outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment. Must be able to crouch and stoop to get into areas with restricted headroom and be able to climb ladders. Will at times require extended use of computer keyboard and viewing of computer monitor and ability to sit for long periods of time and the ability to sit for long periods of time.
