Job Description : Job OverviewWe are hiring an experienced Editor to help us keep growing. If you’re humble and ambitious, Synergy Science, Inc. is an excellent place to grow your career. You will be part of our Digital Marketing team. Hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.Responsibilities for EditorProduce well-researched content for publication online and in printOrganize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within deadlinesUtilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization’s mission to inspire ideas and contentCommunicate and cooperate with a writing team, including a content manager, editors, and web publishersFollow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the content production team to ensure timely delivery of materialsDevelop related content for multiple platforms, such as websites, email marketing, product descriptions, videos, and blogsMonitor and analyze the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvementUse search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search resultsQualifications for EditorProven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolioAn impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressionsAbility to work independently with little or no daily supervisionStrong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and managementAbility to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneouslyStrict adherence to the style guides of each company and their policies for publicationGood time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessaryProficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointFamiliarity with each client’s requirements and the company’s brand image, products, and servicesQuality Assurance experience is a definite bonusPLEASE INCLUDE WRITING SAMPLES or A PORTFOLIO.*A Few Things About Us: *Our Hours are 9 am-5 pm, Monday – FridayDress is business casualWe have a benefits package and a generous flexible PTO policyWe have a fast-paced, and enjoyable workflowBenefits begin after 90 daysMUST BE LOCAL, THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITIONJob Type: Full-time
