This individual will be responsible for overseeing directly and indirectly 30-50 employees on two different shifts. This individual will be working alongside the Unit Manager, Deputy Dishwash Manager, and dishwash workers and help to maintain the process flow, quality, and other operational and personnel processes of the dishwash department. This is a management-level position with significant influence and autonomy for the department.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Supervisory and ManagementOversee the Dishwash departmentManage and supervise the work of all employees within the departmentBring up to management’s attention any concerns and recommendations to such concernsForesee needs or problems that may arise and have action plans in place to avoid production disruptionsProvide vision and clear expectations to all team membersConduct Safety/Production meetings for subordinatesConduct workstation inspections to verify compliance (USDA, HACCP, OSHA, etc.)Comply with the Dishwash standards, efficiency, waste, overweight, etcPromote and maintain teamwork among employees.Empower team members to identify and resolve operational issuesEnsure that all staffing needs and caliber of people are met in coordination with HRDevelop Deputy Managers to the next level of leadershipHold team members accountable for all expectationsHandle any coaching and/or corrective actions with the assistance of HRApprove and handle all questions regarding timecards and payPerform other duties as assignedOperationsTake ownership of the operations by taking full responsibility of anything within the departmentMaintain clean, sanitary work area, safe storage of dish carts and related suppliesEnsure the proper procedures are met for proper loading, running of dishes/cutlery through wash cycle and unloading and stacking of dishes/cutlery in appropriate storage areaEnsure timely and proper distribution of clean dishes, utensils, and other required items to proper areas for other departmentsMaintain clean, sanitary work area, safe storage of dish carts and related suppliesFollow established guidelines, food safety, health & safety policies and proceduresKeep accurate records of cleaning performedGeneral dish area maintenance including sweeping, mopping, organization and garbageFollow all food safety, health and safety, company rules and standards.Communicate with the warehouse department of any stock item needsClearly and confidently communicate with client representatives as neededRegular and timely attendance is expected for the position.Perform other duties as assigned.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business Management, or related field3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing or food industry managing 50+ non-exempt level employeesPrevious experience in supply chain strongly preferredAbility to life items/packages (up to 35 lbs./15kg)Ability to work during weekend and holidays, when requiredQUALIFICATIONS: Strong leadership experience with experience in start-up or turnaround environmentsStrong communication skills with ability to communicate with non-exempt to upper management levelsUnderstanding of lean manufacturing principles and operational processesGood knowledge of HACCP & food safety standardsAptitude in showing self-initiative and follow-throughDetail-oriented and ability to see high pictureBENEFITSFree lunch provided every dayMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401(k) w/ Company matchPaid Time OffPaid HolidayPaid Parental LeaveReferral ProgramJob Type: Full-timePay: From $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityApplication Question(s):If you have a degree, what is it in?Are you 18 years or older?Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:managing employees in the manufacturing or food industry: 1 year (Preferred)supply chain: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
