The ideal candidate knows each dog is different and has a specific pet care routine. Providing stellar service is the core focus of Walk This Way Dogs and the ideal candidate should have experience in customer service/client development in addition to pet care skills. As part of the Walk This Way Dogs team you will be expected to treat each dog even better than your own- we are not just dog walkers, we are the highlight of these dogs’ days. This is not an easy, “walk in the park” position (although sometimes it can be!). Each of our walkers knows and maintains proper leash habits and the ideal applicant should possess basic canine training knowledge. We are looking for a permanent employee with the opportunity to grow.Position:We are looking for a hybrid Dog Walker/ Client Relations Manager/ Scheduler to create and nurture long-term relationships with clients. Your focus is to maintain our long standing relationships through engagement and personalization. You will resolve any issues that arise to ensure customers are satisfied with our services. As our Walk Star, you will begin to understand each client is unique in their needs which will facilitate success as our client relations manager. The scheduler will take into account the routing and time blocks needed to maintain efficient flow of the schedule.In this role, you should be an excellent communicator, hyper organized, and empathetic in order to grasp client needs and brainstorm ways to fulfill them. If you also have a background in customer service and knowledge of our industry, we’d love to meet you!Commitment: -Seeking a Monday and Friday walker in addition to fill in shifts as needed-Monday and Friday shifts are anywhere from 4-8 hours. Fill in shifts are shorter in length-Promotion with pay raise after 90 days to client relations manager and schedulerQualities:-Hyper organized-Client oriented attitude-Excellent communication skills-Team oriented but able to work independently-Exercises good judgement when working alone-Integrity-Honesty-Self motivated-Background in pet care is preferred, although not required.
