Job Description : The Human Resources (HR) Business Partner (HRBP) reports to the Vice President of Human Resources and will serve as the primary HR point of contact for the Roofing & Building Maintenance Division. This role will be responsible for supporting Divisional business needs that include but are not limited to staffing plans, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, compensation, communications, and all other HR support functions. Will provide support to both Roofing and Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Partners with and advises management on all employee matters.Handles employee relations, collaborates with legal counsel as necessary and follows reporting procedures as appropriate.Manages the development, analysis, and maintenance of accurate job descriptions, salary grades, and bonus plans.Advises management personnel as the initial point of contact for all staffing requisitions to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to being entered into Oracle.Reviews all compensation changes to ensure consistency and equity. Escalates unusual requests and provides proposed resolution to the VP of HR.Conducts internal analysis and market analysis for compensation of new and existing jobsPartners with the Director of HR Operations and Shared Services to administer the performance management program including performance reviews, correction notices, and improvement plans.Assists the VP of HR with employee activities such as RIFs, layoffs, reorgs, etc.Assists the VP of HR with Roofing programs and policies that need to be revised and communicated – working in conjunction with the Director of Sales and Training when necessaryServes as primary contact for managers and employees with policy and procedure questions.Identifies ways to support business initiatives and improve processes and efficiencies.Assists VP of HR with year-end compensation and bonus plans collection and planning (in conjunction with Finance)Provide support to WTI and Roofing management staff to ensure processes are followed related to performance management including corrective actions, performance improvement plans, terminations, and employment changes.Other HR projects as necessary or requested by the VP of HR or other Executive leaders within the Division.Supports Division President with any special requests for dataRegularly attends key business meetings as appropriate to stay well informed of business prioritiesWorks in conjunction with the HR shared services team, Recruiting, and other Roofing departments.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Human Resources Management, Business Management, Psychology, or related fieldFour – ten years’ experiencePrior mid-level HR experience supporting large field organization; prior experience with managing organizational change in a fast-paced environment. Must have experience with compensation, job analysis, performance management, employee relations. Strong HR Generalist experience required. Prior experience in the construction industry (Roofing/Building Construction) is strongly preferred.PHR preferredExcellent communication skills with the ability to deal with employees at all levels of the organizationGeneral knowledge of compensation and understanding of market rates.Experience using HRIS systems – Oracle preferredProficient in Microsoft Office applications.Strong organizational skills, clear and professional communication skills, efficient time management, initiative, and problem-solving skills are a must.Must be proactive and self-directed.Ability to build relationships and trust.Ability to travel as needed.Job Type: Full-timePay: $76,000.00 – $114,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payCOVID-19 considerations:Following all CDC recommendationsAbility to commute/relocate:Beachwood, OH 44122: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)Experience:Human resources: 4 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
