Job Description : ABOUT USMountain View Eye Center is a fast paced, 3 doctor ophthalmology/optometry office located in Layton, UT. We want to generate a welcoming and helpful environment for all our patients and their eye care needs. We are looking for a friendly, skilled and motivated person to help keep Mountain View Eye Center the best eye care office around.This position involves: ensuring patients and visitors feel welcome to the practice. scheduling, triaging eye emergencies, scanning medical documents into practice management software, answering and making telephone calls, checking patients in and out for their appointments, collecting payment, verifying insurance and patient information, and recalling patients for exams.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalent.Medical reception experience, preferred.ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIESExcellent customer service and communication skills.Warmly greet patients, visitors, and co-workers.TriagingAbility to work as a team member.Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Highly motivated and organized.Empathetic, personable, respectful, and kind with patients’ needs and concerns.Excels under pressure.Attention to detail.Problem-solving.Basic typing.Must present clean and well groomed, professional appearance at all times.
