Northrop Grumman has an opening for a Technician Team Supervisor position at our Clearfield, UT facility.
As a Technician Team Supervisor the successful candidate will be responsible for direct day-to-day supervision and results of the Quality Control Inspection Team. The primary focus is assurance of crew, hardware and facility safety. TTS will ensure work is performed per approved planning and that all facilities, tooling, machines and materials are appropriate and in proper condition to accomplish work safely and with the expected quality. Will also be accountable for daily productivity of crew and responsible for achieving and maintaining 5s and PES goals.
Position requires technical experience in area being supervised and will be responsible for or provide input into performance reviews, hiring, pay, recognition, counseling and termination decisions. Must be self-driven and have demonstrated leadership skills.
SELECTION CRITERIA:Ability to work in a team environment.Good communication skills.Must be familiar with standard Mechanical Inspection techniques and tools.Requires ability to understand and communicate technical information with clarity.Ability to read, interpret and implement technical drawings, specifications and procedures.Ability to work multiple projects and multiple programs.Adherence to Policies & Procedures with strong commitment to continuous improvement in safety and quality.Self-motivated.Experience with Continuous Improvement/PES techniques
REQUIREMENTS:Must have a minimum four years’ experience in the Propulsion systems QA.Must have a working knowledge of propulsion systems quality systems and the ability to train others.Must have proven technical strengths in processing, operations, and inspections.Understanding of and experience in application of PES principles.Leadership experience, team building experience and motivation skills.Must have experience coordinating and interfacing inspections with Customer and/or Government Representatives
EDUCATION:High School Diploma/GED and Associates Degree or equivalent leadership experience.
Preference will be given to candidates with previous leadership experience.
Salary Range: $65,200 USD – $108,600 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
