Position : Approval Specialist 45-50K
Job Description : The Approval Specialist will build relationships with internal departments and work closely with merchants to ensure they receive superior support and service throughout the onboarding process.Your daily tasks would include but are not limited to:Work closely with sales reps in organizing the underwriting process to help ensure quality and efficiency in the approval of merchant account inquiriesCommunicate with underwriting and the merchant to gather/clarify important documents to move forward with the merchant approval processInbound calls, outbound calls and email correspondence between departments and merchantsManage and record deal progression through sales CRMPosition RequirementsMust have a positive, results-oriented attitudeExcellent verbal (phone) and written communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented, ensuring tasks are completed fully and accurately – we deal with a lot of dataA people person and ability to handle a wide variety of customer typesMotivated and reliableRequired QualitiesHigh School Diploma or equivalentCustomer support experience (a plus)General understanding of the credit card processing industryPreferred QualitiesComfortable with outbound/inbound phone calls (this is not a call center but you will be required to make phone calls on leads to help with the progression)Outlook knowledgeExperience in CRMs or other external tools that help to organize workflow and sale cyclesSales experience, this is not a “sales” position but having an understanding/experience about sales can add value to progressing the approval processJob Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 – $50,000.00 per yearSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: One location
