Position : Associate Database Administrator
Job Description : Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai
Experience: 1 – 2 years
CTC: 3 – 4.5 lac pa
Job Responsibilities:
Work on both Mysql and MSSQL database Administration.
Troubleshoot and resolve database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.
Should be able to work on Performance Tuning, Query Optimization,
Ability to detect and troubleshoot Database Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention.
Coordinate internally with Development and Support teams to resolve bugs and facilitate
Ability to manage day to day monitoring and maintenance tasks (Backups / Restoration / Permission / etc)
Coordinate internally with QA for Database deployments
Work on Database Migration and Database Upgrade projects
Should be able to extract and provide any data requests from various teams
Required Skills:
Good knowledge in MySQL Database Administration basics.
Knowledge and Understanding of Database backups, restores process, database shrink, work with system commands.
Knowledge of how to setup master / slave replication over MySQL
Basic understanding of Mysql / TSQL scripts and knowledge of different Mysql database objects.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic hands-on with LInux will be an added advantage.
Keen to work on any database technologies and acquire Cloud skills
