Job Description : DIRECTOR OF MANUFACTURING FOR MULTIPLE LOCATIONS (ARCHITECURAL / METALS) INDUSTRY*Company offers relocation assistance*They will work to standardize best practices and processes throughout the manufacturing plants. The ideal candidate will thrive working with different stakeholders across multiple teams and areas, including, but not limited to, coordinating with multiple department Managers around specific initiatives, developing communication tools, and tracking metrics.ResponsibilitiesOversees the manufacture of products, ensuring safety, production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met.Reviews production reports to ensure safety, quality, financial, and delivery goals and standards are met.Ensures a healthy and safe working environment, and compliance with federal and state regulations, through collaboration with environmental, health, and safety staff.Assists VP of Operations with long-range operating goals, expansion efforts, and implementation of new and advanced technology.Identifies and shares training opportunities for staff to build and improve skills.Organizes departmental management structure and teams for optimal, efficient operations.Works with VP of Finance to develop operating budget.Delivers progress and production reports to executive team members as requested.Supervises equipment purchase, maintenance, and layout.· Performs other related duties as assigned.Experience and SkillsExcellent communication skills – The ability to communicate openly and clearly throughout the organization.Effective decision-making skills – ability to negotiate and balance decisions and priorities across needs of several functional departments. Makes timely decisions in the face of risk and uncertainty.Thorough understanding of the policies and practices used in the manufacturing division.Ability to set long-term goals and communicate them to others.Ability to motivate and organize multiple efforts to accomplish goals.· Strong People Skills with ability to form strong connections, earning their trust and ability to influence· Experience leading and facilitating multiple Kaizen events a plus.· Strong analytical skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Job Type: Full-timePay: $150,000.00 – $170,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payWork Location: One location
