Job Description : Full Time Level 1 Support & Field Technician in a fast paced working environment. This position includes working in our Clifton office location assisting with remote support calls and visiting customers primarily located on the North NJ area.Troubleshooting customer’s PC’s both hardware & software (Windows 8.1/10)Install hardware upgrades on PC’s and testInstallation or repair of PC operating systemsClean & removal of viruses, adware, spyware, any other related malwareBackup & restore of user/customer’s dataProcessing RMA’s for hardware for warranty repairCustomer service by supporting users remotelySetup, troubleshoot, & repair Microsoft Office related products (Office 2016/2019/365)Setup, troubleshoot, & repair Microsoft Office 365 accountsSetup, troubleshoot, & repair network related issues between PC’s on LAN/Wifi networksSetup, troubleshoot, & repair local/network printersWall rack installation including mounting plywood to wall, mounting rack, & network equipmentAssistance with rack & stacking (Need to be able to lift up to 50lbs)Additional responsibilities may include:Install, configure, & repair smart phone (Iphone/Android) in a corporate environmentAssist with research, development, & testing of new or existing products & services.Phone tech support for new and existing customersBuild preconfigured/custom Servers, Towers & Rack Mountable & be able to disassemble them(Training will be offered if needed)Create/Manage service tickets and calls.Create & manage product/service documentation on work performedTrack & update project progress in Microsoft Project/Ticketing SystemSkills:Excellent Verbal Communication Skills in person and on phoneBilingual is a plus (English & Spanish)College or technical school graduate/student preferred (IT Related Degree or Certification)MCP/A+ Certification or similar preferredMust be able to work extremely well with others, this company strives on teamworkHigh level of enthusiasm and confidenceHighly detailed oriented with documentation & organizationAbility to perform & speak with complete professionalismCAT5/6 Cabling experience is a plusTerminating CAT5/6 to RJ45 heads, jacks, and punch down blocks is a plusJob Type: Full-timePay: From $22.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftOn callSupplemental Pay:Bonus payCOVID-19 considerations:All employee’s are required to wear a mask in the office and when visiting customers as per their requirements.
