Position : Recruitment Coordinator

Job Description : Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain up-to-date knowledge on Personnel Policies and Procedures, labor contract, state and federal regulations, and employment laws, regulations and trends; assist with identifying and revising policy and procedure changes as needed.
Develop and implement programs, plans, policies, and procedures for recruitment, selection, testing, and job placement efforts.
Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria. Prepare or revise job descriptions for review and complete wage comparability analyses.
Prepare for and participate in recruitment events, such as career fairs, community events, and online job fairs to identify and attract quality candidates.
Post job openings on media, social media outlets, program related outlets, and other identified sources.
Develop and manage tracking systems on recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews, hires, transfers, promotions, and prepare appropriate reports.
Evaluate and refer applicants to supervisors and assist supervisors with information regarding screening applicants, conducting interviews, and evaluating applicants.
Network through industry contacts, association memberships, and trade groups.
Research, recommend revisions, and coordinate implementation of orientation and onboarding.
Ensure interview tools, performance appraisals and other related materials/forms are prepared and ready for HR and/or supervisor use.
Other duties and responsibilities as directed by supervisor.

Additional Responsibilities:

Participate in the team process, both within the department and the corporation.
Attend internal and external meetings.
Pursue continuous education and professional development opportunities.
Out-of-town travel with occasional overnight stays.
Availability to work in excess of 40 hours per week in order to fulfill position requirements.
Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education:

Required Bachelor degree in human resources or related field and ability to obtain human resource certification(s) within 2 years of employment.

Experience:

Over five years experience managing recruitment activities and one year experience working with word processing, spreadsheet, and Kronos or related HR software. Prefer ability to read, write and speak Spanish.

Additional Requirements:

Initial and periodic Motor Vehicle Records checks, maintain a valid driver’s license, and maintain a safe driving record.
Must have insured, dependable transportation available for daily use.
Initial and periodic physical exams required.
Must submit to initial and/or periodic state and/or federal criminal checks.
Must submit to initial and periodic drug and alcohol testing.
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Ability to be reached by cellular phone during business hours and after hours.

As a condition of employment, full vaccination against COVID-19 is required.

Recruitment Coordinator – GLCAP Headquarters

Minimum $1,154 per week, 40 hours per week
