Job Description : Job SummarySolstice is a private residential treatment center for adolescent females 14-18 years old. Solstice focuses on helping our clients deal with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues. Our program specializes in helping adolescents struggling with trauma, loss, and addictive behaviors.As a mentor at Solstice, you will impact the lives of our students by building relationships through meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and acting as a role model. Our mentors often describe their position as both challenging and rewarding. Mentors participate in equine therapy groups, outdoor adventure activities, and work closely with licensed clinical therapists to facilitate therapeutic treatment plans. This is a great opportunity to make an impact while acquiring practical experience in the field of social work and psychology.You will be assigned to a smaller team of 10-12 dedicated staff who work closely together to provide support, training, and guidance in working with our students. Weekend pay (Saturday & Sunday) for all mentors is $18/hr. We also offer bonuses for picking up weekend shifts and overtime.
