Key / Primary Responsibilities
‘The role holder will have
Expertise in Finance with work experience in Finance in Banking or financial company in defining Chart of Accounts, accounting entries, issue resolution and GL reconciliation
Technology experience working in Banking or a financial technology product company providing core banking and/or transaction processing systems and GL interfacing
Understanding of functioning of any Enterprise General Ledger
Good understanding of transactions and accounting covering the lifecycle of Asset, Liabilities and Payments relevant to Indian Banking industry
Broad understanding of business / product knowledge, including industry practices,ability to assess cross functional impact across multiple systems in the ecosystem
Own product development and delivery, functional specifications and development of solutions in and around Core Banking solutions
Act as a catalyst for cross functional and cross organizational collaboration. Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project phase
Develop and champion product strategy, along with architectural vision and development roadmap.
Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for multiple squads
Define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities
Lead and guide a team of Business Analysts in defining and assessing value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with Bank’s strategy
Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
Work closely with product teams to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value and drive ROI
Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities
Play an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
Research and analyze market, the users, and develop the roadmap for product enhancements
Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
Secondary Responsibilities
‘Strong communication skills, self driven, motivated, proactive approach and detail-oriented, yet comfortable working in a dynamic environment
Ability to guide, mentor and manage a talent pool of Business Analysts, Functional Analysts, Test Architects.
Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities
‘Be a servant leader and collaborate with team members from varied backgrounds & disciplines to drive squad outcomes
Key Success Metrics – ‘Deliver & effectively track all the deliverables
