analyze and evaluate requests / indents for purchase of various non-IT capex items communicate with the requestor in person, by telephone or writing discrepancies in the request vis-vis standard products and items approved and ensure adherence to approved products, rates and procedures ensure the adequacy of the specifications call for quotations from the approved vendor list create indents for approvals as per delegation verify accuracy of system generated indents develop draft manual orders for non-standard items for approval Manage purchase / work orders amendments etc.
to coordinate with the vendors for delivery and keep the internal stakeholders updated follow-up with the vendor for goods received in damaged condition for replacement.
