Job Description : ScenicView Academy is hiring a Program Manager to oversee the development and implementation of its Thrive program for the approximately 60 neurodiverse students enrolled in our residential school. This is a full-time, salaried position with full benefits- including paid time off, retirement matching, HSA, medical, vision, and dental. Pay will be $28-$40/hour, depending on experience. The anticipated start date is no later than April 1st, 2022.Setting and Responsibilities:ScenicView Academy is a nonprofit 501c3 which has been a leader in empowering successful transition to independence for young adults with autism and related neurodiversities for over 20 years. Check out our website at www.svacademy.org.Program Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations and student care and instruction in one of our three focus areas: Live, Work, and Thrive. The Thrive Program Manager will direct our residential unit and have the following duties:Oversee the progress, supports, curriculum, and instruction relevant to all Thrive Program skills outcomes, including:Relationships, Resiliency, Health and Fitness, Leisure and RecreationSupervise 5-10 Direct Service Specialist staff and interns, including any required training, feedback, and corrective actionsOversee the volunteer programHold all supervised staff accountable to their job duties and Key Performance IndicatorsComplete annual and ongoing Performance Evaluations for all supervised staffConduct four performance/classroom observations per staff annually (2 observations, 2 follow ups)Complete one Feedback Session per-staff per-termSupport classes (groups) and 1-on-1s as neededConduct orientations and trainings for new students and staffComplete all required documentation in a timely and professional mannerSupport and implement directives from Program Directors and Service CoordinatorsFacilitate the achievement of student Outcomes according to their Transition PlanPropose and manage the annual Thrive Program budgetPropose personnel actions, program improvements, and structural changesServe on the Student Admissions and Student Retention committeesCoordinate and collaborate with the ScenicView leadership teamQualifications:The ideal candidate will have:A passion for working with neurodiverse adults on relationship and leisure skills required for successful independence, and for working in proactive, positive tandem with our leadership teamProven, extensive experience working with autism and related conditions, developing curriculum and plans, and organizing and leading groupsThe ability to effectively give and receive open, candid, respectful feedbackExcellent attention to detail and customer serviceExceptional professionalism and communication skillsCTRS preferredEducation:A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as therapeutic recreation, social work, or psychology is required for this position.ScenicView Academy is an equal-opportunity employer, and strives to create an environment of belonging and inclusion for all employees and applicants regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, religion, or disability.Job Type: Full-timePay: $28.00 – $40.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayApplication Question(s):Are you able to pass a criminal background check?Work Location: One location
