Job Description : Warehouse AssistantMadi Lane is a growing brand of bridal wear. We are looking for a warehouse assistant to help with all manners of shipping and receiving. The ideal candidate is an energetic, hard-working, individual who will help cultivate a team environment and foster a positive work ethic.Responsibilities:Physically receives all shipments into warehouse.Checks in all shipments and puts items into correct bins/locations.Pulls orders while ensuring all items are correct before shipping to end customer.Conducts inventory and stock counts when needed.Actively helps in locating missing items in warehouse.Creates labels in UPS Worldship for all outgoing shipments as well as labels for return shipments.Communicates job expectations to other employees.Enforces company policies and procedures.Resolves problems and disseminates advisories and warnings.This is a warehouse based job. We need someone who can stand and walk for long periods of time, able to lift 30+ lbs on a daily basis, pays very close attention to detail, learns quickly and can move at a decent pace. We also require someone who is mildly experienced using computers and comfortable learning new software. This is a full -ime or part-time position with typical business hours Monday – Friday.
