Job Description : Supply Chain Specialist5 years previous Supply Chain Management experience. Works with the project managers on several different workloads to ensure a continuous supply of parts. Supports the management in ordering time critical parts. Review material specifications, drawings, and other information to determine part requirements. Requests quotes and negotiates price and delivery for items required. Prepares and manages purchase orders to meet the demands of production. Must communicate both verbally and via email with vendors supplying items. Populate several databases to reflect current inventory levels. Use problem solving skills to resolve issues. Must have excellent computer skills.
