Job Description : Analyze drawings and specifications for bid invites.Assemble estimates and proposals.Provide clear detailed quantity take offs.Organize quotations from subcontractors.Compose scopes of work.Proficient with SmartBid, OnScreen Takeoff, Sage 300 Suite, Microsoft Office.Attend pre-construction and bid review meetings.Perform conceptual estimates as well as hard bids.Assist with value engineering.Ability to work in a high paced environment.Work directly with other Estimators on bid preparation and completion.Build relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and customers.Ability to read and understand bid documents.Clear and fluent knowledge of computers and experience working with spreadsheets.Familiarity with CAD programs.Exceptional communication skills.Proficient in construction mathematics.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Construction estimating: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
