Position : Entry Level AV Electrical Technician – Low Voltage Rough in or Prewire Job
Job Description : No Resume Needed, Setup an interview by texting us at (385) 257-3045.Interviews can be held outside normal work hours including weekends.We are looking for awesome people to join our team of installers. This position is for installing wiring for low voltage control systems into luxury/custom homes. Primarily, this is in new construction with some retrofit into existing homes as well. This is a construction based, labor position that gives an opportunity to advance into one of the more skilled, higher paying positions within the company once work ethics, ability, & desire are established. Company vehicles and fuel are provided from the shop to the job site and the hours are Mon-Fri from 7:00am to roughly 4:00pm. Willing to train the right people that have a desire to work hard and excel in this industry.ResponsibilitiesInstallation of rough-in wiring in new construction, crawl spaces, attics and other locations.Install, terminate, label, and test Cat 5e / Cat 6 / RG6 / RG11 cabling.Install, label and test speaker and security system wiring.Complete installations according to project plans and proposals.Follow industry standards and building codes for low voltage installations.Maintain job site and vehicle cleanlinessPhysical and Mental Requirements:Must have the ability to sit, stand, stoop and bend for extended periods of timeMust be able to climb ladders and scaffoldMust be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional, and help create, develop and implement project process improvement(s).Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners.Must be able to maintain a professional appearanceMust possess proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to effectively communicate written and verbally to employeesAbility to be proficient with hand & power toolsMust be able to work at heights, off of a ladder and in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 poundsMust be able to see and distinguish different colors, read small print and hear and recognize audible signals such as dial tonesFlexibility to travel occasionally or work overtime as neededProblem-solving and troubleshooting skills; creative thinkingInteract with employees, customers, and colleagues effectively and on a professional levelQualificationsBe a US Citizen or authorized to work in the USHave valid driver’s license and good driving recordPass drug screen and background checkBasic low voltage pre-wire knowledge and experience is a plusNo Resume Needed, Setup an interview by texting us at (385) 257-3045.Interviews can be held outside normal work hours including weekends.Job Type: Full-timePay: $15.38 – $23.61 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftLicense/Certification:Driver’s License (Preferred)Willingness to travel:25% (Preferred)Work Location: One location
