Position : Golf Shop Starter
Job Description : Full Job DescriptionDuties Checks golfers onto the golf course.Monitors pace of play on the course.Schedules tee-times.Operates POS System, including credit card machine.Monitors and updates daily tee sheet and update throughout scheduled shift.Keeps work area neat and clean at all times.Maintains a neat and orderly golf shop.Assists in keeping the golf course and areas around the clubhouse clean and calls attention to any maintenance issues that need addressing.Assists other outside staff as needed.Maintains an adequate supply of scorecards, pencils, tees, ball markers, etc. at the starter desk.Promote and sell merchandise items such as balls, tees, gloves, clubs, etc.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsExperience: Experience using computer/cashering systems. Golf experience/knowledge preferred but not required. Licenses/Certifications: Must possess A valid driver’s license.
