Job Description : Frontier Management, LLC is seeking an experienced Vice President of Operations – Pacific Northwest Region to join Frontier’s Leadership team and oversee the portfolio of community operations predominantly located throughout the state of Washington and Oregon. Demonstrated success as a leader in similar settings is required of the Vice President of Operations.Position requires 90% travel. We are proud to be ranked #16 among the nation’s Top 150 Largest U.S. Seniors Housing Operators by American Seniors Housing Association.The Vice President of Operations is responsible for overall management of the communities in accordance with the policies, procedures and annual plans approved by Frontier Management, LLC and in compliance with all state, local and federal rules, regulations, and laws applicable to the operation and/or licensure of the communities. Direct day-to-day management oversight appropriate for a first-class operation which ensures the health, safety, and satisfaction of all residents, budgetary control, and achievement of occupancy goals. Vice President of Operations responsibilities include, but are not limited to Fiscal Management, Quality Assurance, Licensing and Regulatory Compliance, Human Resources Management, Resident Services and Relations, Property and Plant Maintenance and Improvements, Occupancy Development and Public Relations.Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate preparation, and implementation of annual budgets and operating standards for all Communities within your designated region.Develop and maintain systems that will effectively monitor the operation of communities in your designated region.Prepare financial, occupancy development, operating reports, and/or analysis as required and as may be requested by Frontier Management, LLC from time-to-time.Conduct site visits on a regular and routine basis to assist Executive Directors and Department Supervisors with operating issues and to monitor the quality of all programs and departmental operationsRecruit, hire, provide orientation, supervise, train, discipline and terminate Executive Directors and be responsible for ensuring compliance with the policies and procedures.Other Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, accompanied by formal education or specialized training in the field of management, marketing or sales. BS/BA in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline is preferred.Minimum of five (5) years of experience in healthcare administration preferably in long-term care, assisted living, or retirement housing. Preferably a minimum of three (3) years of experience, or the equivalent in experience and education, in multi-site, multi-state operations.Push, pull, and lift at least 30 pounds occasionally.Frequent travel, 90% of the time, and movement from one location to another.Clerical/Administrative requirements including analysis of data, working at a computer, reading, writing and processing paperwork.Must possess a current state-specific driver’s license and appropriate driving recordFrontier Management offers a competitive salary starting at $100,000+ DOE and a work environment that encourages initiative and fosters respect.
