We are looking for a Production Scheduler Assistant that is hardworking, positive, and wants to be an important part of a growing team! We welcome you to join our Team and be a Force for Good!RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee all warehouse activities. This includes but is not limited to:Oversee warehouse personnelEnsure people are using time wiselyEnsure new employees are given trainingForklift trainingSafety trainingTask trainingHelp build/create/revise SOPs for warehouse tasksCleaning procedureReturn procedurePull/Staging procedureShipping procedureKnow how to complete the following basic warehouse tasks:Receive materialsPick orders Check jobs before they go to productionPull inventory where shortReturn materialsShip finished goodsBe able to train other new hires on those tasks / oversee and ensure they progressUnderstand how to utilize ERP system (Deacom) to manage inventory and/or other warehouse tasksPrioritize tasks based on scheduleEnsure warehouse organization and cleanlinessUnderstand warehouse locations/sections to keep organizedSetup layout and ensure efficient space utilizationIncludes: Allergen, Storage Condition, Category/Sub-Categories, QC StatusSupport production with transferring of material between upstairs and downstairsEnsure production has materials availableEnsure materials are staged on plastic to be taken inEnsure not double stackedKnow how to use and train how to use forklifts safelySupport annual trainingCycle countSeek ways to improve processesAttendance: Would need to ensure the team is properly staffed and have a contingency plan in case someone doesn’t show upSupport production during weekendsIn addition to overseeing the warehouse, it is expected warehouse management works with the production to ensure things are flowing smoothlyAlso, work with quality to understand the material statusSKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum High School Graduate/GED.Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related degree is given preference.1-3 years minimum in Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager, Production Manager, or related role.Preference is given to those with cGMP experiencePreference is given to those with experience in manufacturing, co-manufacturing, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing environments.Strong ability to manage and influence people.Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and humble.Respectful of colleagues, employees, and all those that you come in contact with.Ability to inspire action and accountability in your team members.Ability to support those you should, and ability to discipline and hold accountable those that require such action.Strong ability to manage, understand and influence people.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:Warehouse management: 3 years (Preferred)CGMP: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
