Job Summary
10+ years of experience working in a data science position ¿ Experience with common programming languages and tools for data science like Python ¿ Experience working in TIBCO Data Science Platform to deliver Advanced Analytics and NLP solutions using either TIBCO Team Studio is must. ¿Expertise in applying Data Science techniques such as Univariate, Bivariate Analysis, feature Engineering, Extraction, Statistical tests, Cross Validation, Ensembling, Parameter Tuning. ¿ Expert level technical skills in using Python, MATLAB, Matplot, Jupiter notebooks ¿ Familiarity with TIBCO Spotfire visualization tool ¿ Comprehensive understanding of machine learning methods and algorithms (e.g. Random Forest, GBM), Clustering (K Means, DBSCAN) ¿ Experience in Decision Optimization with linear and nonlinear programming is desirable ¿ Familiar with data visualization libraries and tools (e.g. matplot, ggplot, plotly) ¿ Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge (e.g. regression, probability distributions) ¿ Proficient in statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and data mining ¿ Good understanding of the various methods to clean, organize, and transform data ¿ Able to remain as an efficient and analytical problem solver even when faced with challenges ¿ Demonstrate a keen interest and passion for statistics and research ¿ Motivated to pick up and practice new techniques and technologies ¿ Possess forward thinking orientation and sensitive to business needs when generating insights from the data
